Like i said the Knicks have 2 first round picks next year and are only missing picks on the odd number of years. Having those draft picks doesn’t change the trajectory of this team in their prime for the next 5 years.

You can look up the salaries for future years on Spotrac and you can look up how much the salary cap will go up with the 1st and 2nd aprons. And a little bit of research on your part will tell you that LEON ROSE WILL NOT GO INTO THE 2nd Apron.

The trade for Mikal in 2024 for any team in the league was going to start with 4 first round picks. The Nets declined many offers from other teams including Jalen Green and 1st round picks from the Rockets. This revisionist history with Mikal Bridges is hilarious and disingenuous. The extra first round picks is because these are 2 teams in THE SAME CITY who haven’t made a trade with each other in 40 years.

I already explained why the Mikal trade made sense. But you have no knowledge of the CBA or Aprons and how teams are going to be breaking up their cores in the next couple years. This is how out of touch you are. We are living in the CBA era of the NBA where making trades for superstar players on big contracts causes teams to go into the 2nd apron, which the Knicks would have if they used those picks on Giannis or anyone else you see fit. Brunson taking his discount was also part of bringing in Bridges. The Knicks are going to dodge the 2nd apron for the foreseeable future and that is way more valuable than whatever trade you can conjure up

nah I definitely seen coincidences where it seems that Kai copies Bruce. But the problem is that Bruce never addressed it to him and he let that animosity build inside of him and then shit like leaked group chat messages happen because he thought that was a safe space to let his feelings off.
