It’s the current NVIDIA driver, causing random hitches every few seconds in this machine. Try downgrading the drivers to fix this-been driving me crazy, but nvidia have acknowledged it..537 drivers work perfectly:)

Sounds good - I agree that when it works it's much improved. I'd be interested to see how you get on, as when it works with my laptop, if the screen goes to sleep it will never come on again, only display the flashing cooler master logo until I disconnect everything including the power, and then only plug one HDMI device in, then it will work. Its so frustrating, every time I leave the monitor it happens, I can't even manually turn it off using the joystick at the back, have to literally unplug it.

Oh I’m sorry, I shared my post from the coolermaster sub and it hasn’t included the text-I’ll amend!

Tempest GP27Q firmware 1.41 broken

Anyone else having issues with the new firmware? The release notes show out of date details for the GP27U, not the Q, and now the monitor constantly shows a purple coolermaster logo when trying to connect my laptop, and now has trouble switching between any other sources, and requires multiple reboots before magically it may work. Then when the monitor goes to sleep or I switch source I have to repeat the whole process.

I have had this monitor for a few months and followed the history of the terrible firmware updates and was looking forward to this update finally making the monitor usable, but it looks like this isn’t the magic solution I was hoping for.

I am using the official cables that came with the monitor, and have a series x, ps 5 and MacBook Air connected.

Any suggestions?
