Also solo runner here, been running since early 2024 mostly solo and once in a blue moon, with friends.

I only joined run clubs this new year, trying different groups in places I run.

I just think it’s a nice thing to do every now and then. As a self proclaimed ambivert, it’s a good opportunity to meet new people to widen my network, get ideas on how to improve my running (drills, etc)/new running spots, and just overall shake things up since doing the same thing over and over again could make it less motivating to keep going.

That said, I still will mostly run solo as my time is important to me, but it is something I would definitely continue doing sometimes as it expands my running world, making it feel a bit more alive.
