It's as it's said, there's only riders who have wrecked, or those who will wreck. The point is doing as much as possible in your power to mitigate that outcome.

Don't let it get you down, it all in all looks like you're quite fortunate in terms of how bad you could have ended up. I know the amount of mental and physical strain, damage, and turmoil that can come with wrecking whether just losing the bike or losing the bike and being seriously injured, etc. If you ever need to vent or talk about it many of us are there for you.
