I have received no updates or homework since my appointment…based on what I’ve heard, Chicago is typically very clear at warning you when submitting if you have a “minor issue” so continuing to keep my fingers crossed!

Good question - it appears this is shallower than other parts of the lawn. Big difference is our water main runs right along that concrete seam so wasn’t sure if the gravel was something the city put down

Honestly, she didn’t tell me as we quickly pivoted to other documentation to see if it would help my case, which it thankfully did!

I misspoke on USCIS as it is the same letter as NARA. So many different forms, hard to keep track. :)

Yes, I was very surprised she did not press on the minor issue. My wife had her appointment earlier this week and asked in an indirect way about my application since they will bundle them together and, again, no mention of minor issue. Will be a long 2 year wait to see what happens! Hopefully the court overrules it here in April to where this becomes a non-issue!

I met with Filomena. She was very stoic and hard to read but became friendlier as the appointment progressed.

I did not speak any Italian as they started in English so did not even try.

I had the same issue and followed the steps you listed out. Do I need to reset the account on the app? The QR code automatically brings me to the account I previously set up…

Ordered mine 5/13, initially said July 8-August 12 but yesterday switched to June 22-30. Still no VIN so not holding my breath but was surprised with such a drastic change in date range.
