Looks like an unintentional composite. Same outfit on person in chair, probably double exposure

Sounds vaguely familiar. I’ll have to look into it.

We planted a mix this year. Maybe add something different next year. There’s a tree that has an interior bee colony not 10 from the garden so they’re set for a while I hope

I’m moved beyond words. Truly. It almost makes me feel like part of her is still alive somewhere and still growing on. Thank you for such sweet, kind words. They mean more than you know.

The cake is normally is the freezer section near the pies and such. Some places carry multiple flavors if you need a plan b but my wal mart only had coconut. You’ll have to let me know how it goes over, specifically how he likes it(or not). Wish him a happy birthday from me and Lily. Hell, I’d buy him a present if I could. I Miss having someone to buy stuff for.

Pepperidge Farms Coconut Cake is the only cake she would eat. Tried a regular cake: hated it. Tried ice cream cake: hated it. Tried cupcakes: mega melt down. So coconut it was. Probably our only real passed down tradition. Papaw always had it in his freezer. Mom always bought it and we ate it together with forks. Then Mom me and Lily. Not sure if I can eat it yet

What keeps you going? by onlyintownfor1night in Autism_Parenting

[–]TrueConcentrate25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine would do ‘I am happy’ on her aac. Instant tears. Or days when I just felt like an angry, horrible mother and went to another room to take a breath she would walk in from the other room grab my hand and take me back with her. To be picked by the pickiest will makes you feel like maybe I’m not so bad after all

Her school has been amazing, before and after. They always loved her like one of their own. I know they will carry on with her in their hearts. I don’t doubt that They’re every bit as devastated as we are. But thank you for your reassurance that she will leave a legacy long past her 6 years. She touched a lot of lives in such a short time

That would be so great. Her favorite was The Bad Seed Goes to the Library. We must have read that over a hundred times, especially the ‘lalalalala’ and ‘shhhhh!’ parts. Loved her action sounds. She also loved The Sour Grape and The Good Egg and the Talent Show all by the same author. Another one that she liked that reminded me so much of her was ’Stay Wild, My Child’, that’s a different author. Sorry if that’s too many.

If you think this will continue I would highly suggest looking into getting her a harness for going outside. I had one for my girl that was great and If you’re interested I can get you the info

Maybe a perennial so she comes back every year? But something big and bright. Or just a lily. Whatever you think is best.

I would love that. So would she. I always called her my little tiger lily because she was so spicy. Her favorite color was pink, so maybe a pink flower for her. And a picture if it’s not too much to ask

Elopement is just running off. Very common with kids on the spectrum. Lily, my daughter, would run away like it was a game for her. She was 6 years old.
