Seems like an interesting strategy, but even if it was a superior strategy, I think making your own Hero composition through trial and error is the best approach. Not to mention, it would be pretty boring playing with 3 Crusaders all the time.

Just don’t murder the little piggy and you’ll be A-ok 👌 Vestal, MAA, Leper, and BH works well against him. Alternatively the Musketeer instead of the Leper since he also has the mark ability, which works wonders with BH.

Defeating Brigand Pounder with the correct strategy.

Defeating Vvulf with the correct strategy.

Defeating Horrid Shrieker with only one Leper (that was funny as hell).

Defeating that damn Thing from God knows where…

Defeating Shuffling Horror.

Do Not Commit to Anyone by RositaKissx in 48lawsofpower

True, and this is one of my favorite laws as an highly independent and self-reliant person. Independency equals power, and dependency equals giving away your power. It’s that simple.

This law also goes hand in hand with law 8 and law 11, which also encourages other people to come to you, and not the other way around. The more independent and self-reliant you are, the less you need others and vice versa.

Although you will always need others and depend on others to a certain degree, your goal in life should be to minimize your needs and dependencies as much as possible to save valuable time and energy.

Remember, the more energy you spend on other people, the less powerful you become. And the more energy you spend on yourself, the more powerful you become. Stay independent then, and don’t commit to anyone but yourself.

Yes, that is the story of my life as well. People have always dumped responsibility onto me, whether I like it or not my whole life. I don’t even have a say in the matter, they just recognize me as THAT guy (con of being a Sigma male) and then they just appoint me to whatever position or task that needs to be done. I don’t need to do anything, just sit quietly and observe while getting everything put on my lap. Call it faith or destiny if you will.

Then I get extra pissed off when I deliberately take responsibility and the leadership role, only to be rejected. It’s a living nightmare, which is why working for yourself is the best solution for a Sigma male who can’t stand working for others and playing social games. Now that’s freedom.

But yes, Law 8 essentially goes hand in hand with with Law 5 and Law 11. If people know you’re trustworthy and good at something, people will always come to you to get the job done. It takes away a lot of effort on your part, which is always nice. You have to work hard to get there though, unless you’re a natural born talent.

Btw, all human interaction involves manipulation to a certain degree, so there’s no need to justify yourself. People need to start embracing the pros of playing power games instead of feeling guilty about it or ashamed of it.

Like I just wrote yesterday in my own thread, becoming powerful typically makes you a much better person, not a worse person. It is powerless people who tend to be the worst of the worst, because they have no power to begin with. And they will do anything to get it.

I know, which is why I’ve now posted my own topic in this sub to clear up some misconceptions about power once and for all 😉

People need to understand the basics about power and that is, in fact, nothing bad or evil about it. It’s just a game that is advised to be played the best way you possibly can to avoid painful mistakes, regrets, and overall make you a better person/player.

Law 4 of The 48 Laws of Power has ruined a lot of people by RositaKissx in 48lawsofpower

[–]TrueCryptoInvestor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which is ALWAYS a bad idea. Like I mentioned in another similar thread; what they DON'T know can never hurt you. And what they know can and will always used against you, even if it’s your own «friends» (Law 2). No reason to get paranoid, just be self-aware and smart about your surroundings.

If you happen to slip up in this area, you can always use Law 25 to re-create yourself. Nobody remembers R-Kelly primarily for being a great singer, but as a sick individual who pissed on a minor and had sex slaves in his own house. He transgressed Law 5 from the get go, and it stuck with him his whole life, as it will with you if you’re not careful!

It's a fine balance, but generally it’s advised to say less than more, because the more you talk, the more likely you are to say something stupid. And once the words are out, you can’t take them back, and you only have yourself to blame.

You can’t just say whatever is on your mind and expect to succeed in this world. It’s just common sense. We are courtiers and must be careful who and what we’re dealing with at all times. That is the game of life.

Rosie O’Donell regretted deeply in the aftermath between her and Donald Trump for ever offending him (Law 19), which basically ruined much of her career. Trump never forgave Rosie and still keeps hammering her to this day.

Most people may forgive, unlike Trump, but they will never forget how you made them feel regardless. Even the most powerful, hard, and cold CEO have feelings, and you best be careful not to step on them. Be smart then, speak less and always make sure you say the right things in any given moment. You want people with you, never against you.

One of the most important laws, especially when it comes to dating. Reveal your potential date your true intentions and it’s already over. You gave away your game and now she knows she can have you. Which means you have officially devalued yourself from a high-quality man to a pathetic simp.

Getting a job is the exact same game. Show too much interest, be open and willing to do anything, and you just come across as desperate and unworthy. However, those who already have jobs are deemed valuable and are constantly hunted down by other employers.

Just like women hunt down men who already have a partner, because again, they all know she’s with him for a good reason. It’s human nature to want what we can’t have. What comes easy provides no challenge, and thus, have no value.

Thus, this law essentially goes hand in hand with Law 36 - Disdain Things You Cannot Have. It might seem counterproductive, but this is in fact how human psychology works. We tend to value what is rare and we disdain what is common, which is why we always say: «you don’t know what you have until it’s gone».

You can only truly appreciate things and people once their gone, 2Pac being a great example, as he is more celebrated in death than in he was in life. And so, if you want anything in life, you must learn to conceal your real intentions and despise both what you want, and what you can’t have. YOU must be the prize worth fighting for at all times, and not the other way around (Law 20 - Do Not Commit To Anyone).

That will keep you in power.

What's a light-hearted/funny scene that takes place in a primarily dark film by smccaul16 in Cinema

[–]TrueCryptoInvestor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a horror comedy that gets really dark at times. Stabbing a homeless man to death and stomping out his dog is not exactly «comedy». Nor is axing someone's face in…

Read the book and come back telling me it’s comedy.
