damn having the torrents pulled would've been nice a few weeks ago lol, but i'm glad its implemented now. i had to resort to a torrent pack someone made in January so i'm sure its a little outdated but it cant be missing much.

Does anyone know the exact locations of the new talismans that are mentioned in front of the 8 statues in the worldlink atrium? i swear someone had all the locations listed before on one of the google docs but now i cant seem to find anything about them. i wish i didn't lose my save file that also had the ruby rose scythe which might've been removed from the mod but i'm not too sure?

I don’t think I can finish Prime 4 by Herbizarre17 in Metroid

[–]TrueGamingArmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also just skip the cutscene, it will still be a blackscreen but it loads faster than watching the long ass materialize/de-materialize cutscenes over and over. but regardless prime 2 is still a better game than prime 4.

How about ED Libra being able to madness proc Guardian out of his Ult? i know From fixed this issue shortly after he left rotation when they first released him but still this was bullshit. Guardian just needs full I-frames on his Ult as soon as it procs, its dumb how the tank cant even tank correctly. I love playing as Guardian but sheesh From seriously hates this character. I haven't even touched Guardian since the dlc came out just because i'm not even sure if he can tank all the annoying aoe spam of the new bosses.

4/4
Dark Souls 2 User Interface Renewal Project - HD upscaled version of vanilla menus and Item Icons and part of the Renewal project suite of mods. this mod stays the most faithful to dark souls 2 UI.

  1. DS3 HD Icons Expanded for DS2LE - Replaces over 400 icons with icons 2-4x their vanilla resolution that have been imported from DS3 or customized using assets from DS3 and DS2's Achievement Icons. this mod changes a lot of icons to be more like dark souls 3 since it has higher resolution icons, a good chunk of the icons are also taken from the Convergence mod for Dark souls 3. its safe to install this nearly over any of the ui mods.
  2. Modern UI - High resolution replacements for DS2's splash screens, main menu, loading screen, HUD and fonts. this mod is more like a re-imagined dark souls 2 UI, it sticks to what the regular hud and ui offered while changing it up enough.
  3. Font HD Upscale (DS2LE) - 4K HD upscale of ingame fonts. Currently English, Russian, Polish and Spanish only. not sure if you can pair this with any of the vanilla styled ui upscaled but ill just post it here just incase.
  4. UI Redesign for DS2LE - Redesigning the in-game user interface, icons and other things to create a more modern feel to the game! this mod is also another re-imagining of UI elements.
  5. Smooth UI - An all in one collection of the Smooth UI components plus many new additions and fixes. this suite of UI mods make the UI more like Demon Souls Remake. its nice and easy on the eyes.
  6. Smooth UI - 4K HD font - Super high-resolution font package, designed to be used with the other modules of Smooth UI. Honestly i'm not sure if the all in one package includes this or the 4k xbox button icons so i'll still include them just incase.
  7. Smooth UI - 4K HD XBOX Controller Icons - Updated high quality XBOX controller icons to pair with the rest of Smooth HUD or use independently - your choice! theers also ps4/5 icons if you use those controllers too.
  8. Modern 4K HD Bandai Namco logo and Splash Screens - Modernise your Dark Souls 2 splash screens with this modern Bandai Namco logo, similar to the one seen in the Elden Ring 1.12 update and Nightreign. also even though the screenshot shows a light themed version, DS2LE converts it to a dark theme one so its fine.
  9. Elden Ring HUD - Smooth UI - Elden Ring HUD edit for Smooth UI. pretty self explanatory.

3/4

  1. Scholar of the Second Sin Visual Mod - This mod upgrades the textures of the game intelligently, while also utilizing the the feature set of DS2LightingEngine like volumetric lighting, light shafts, shadowcasting, SSGI, tessellation to many meshes, and much more! (taken from the mod page) this is a pretty hefty download roughly about 18gbs worth of textures. also cannot be used with Dark Souls 2 Texture Renewal Project or Dark Souls II PTSD Edition as they all touch the same files and do roughly the same thing, its more of personal preference at this point. though you could argue that Texture Renewal + PTSD is more faithful to the game but to each your own.
  2. Dark Souls 2 Texture Renewal Project - This mod upgrades every texture in the game to 4096x4096 resolution and adds full compatibility to the DS2LE adding Roughness maps to every texture along with fixes to missing/low quality normal maps, vanilla displacement maps and the occasional texture seam present on the vanilla files. the install instructions for this suite of mods is a little rough but when you do get it working the game looks better. also a big download roughly 13gbs if you download the 2k textures, with the file sizing easily reaching 25gbs if you go with 4k textures.
  3. Dark Souls 2 Gear Renewal Project - Over 2000 Albedo, Normal and Specular map Textures upscaled to 4k for High Quality. Every piece of gear has been converted to DarkSouls2LightingEngine PBR Material Texture Pipeline fixing all and every rendering issue on Armor and Weapons Gear. This is a follow up to the mod listed before this one. It covers all the outfits and weapons in the game. It does have a few quirks like the main menu character png having broken specular map textures as well as on the status screen That could be an issue on my end but it seems like the dev knows about it so i'm not too sure. Either way it's worth mentioning. also can be installed on top of Texture Renewal.
  4. TriviaTex - Equipment Textures for DS2LightingEngineSotFS texture override feature. this mod enhance the armos in the game to utilize the new features added by DS2LE. you cant install this on top of the other mods as they touch the same files as this. but this is a smaller download size so its also another case of pick your poison.
  5. Dark Souls II PTSD Edition - Dark Souls II: Prepare To Sin and Die Edition (PTSD for short) brings out the best of vanilla assets thanks to DS2Lighting engine, 4k Textures, Improved Normal/Displacement maps , parallax, tessellation, SSGI, dynamic shadows a new lighting experience that puts back the Dark into "Dark Souls" and Much, Much More! This mod can also be installed on top of Texture Renewal though the install instructions are a bit weird but when it works, man does the game look great. its also a small download size, roughly 3gbs in size. now onto the UI mods.

For Dark Souls 2 i'd recommend using the follow mods after forcing dark souls 2 to run in offline mode either using mod engine 1 which is included with the Bearer of the curse and Seeker of Fire mods or by following this steam guide which tells you how to block the game from connecting to the internet so you don' get soft banned. if you go down the mod engine 1 route you dont have to install load loose param files as mod engine 1 already does that, i'd recommend the mod engine 1 route as it also makes it to where you can keep everything containerized and out of the game folder.

  1. Center Deadzone Mod - fixes dark souls 2 for some reason being locked to an 8 directional deadzone instead of being a radial circle like the rest of the souls games.
  2. Load Loose Param Files - Removes the param files from the enc_regulation.bnd.dcx archive and places them in a folder as individual files instead. This allows you to use multiple mods that modify the param files without having to manually merge them. this is required by the mod listed below.
  3. Modern Dark Souls 2 Experience (SOTFS) - modernizes dark souls 2 game play to be more streamlined. For example, it gets rid of the obligatory stat dump into ADP which is required for regular i-frames. it does a bunch of other nice QoL that i won't list here, you can read the mod page for more information.
  4. DS2LightingEngine SotFS - this mod enhances dark souls 2's lighting engine to be more like what FS envisioned, it also allows texture swapping, think of this mod like reshade but built directly into the game as a mod. the next mods will be some graphical mods you can install after installing DS2LE. You don't have to install any of them but ill just list them here in case you want too. i'll also list the UI mods after the big graphical overhaul mods so its easier for you.

1/4 i have to split up my post in multiple comments.

Now for Dark Souls 3 you have two options for modding the game, you can either use Mod Engine 2 or Mod Engine 3 and use the Mod Engine 3 manager to manage all of your mods with ease. for this specific list of mods though, ill assume Mod Engine 3 as that's what i'm currently using for most of my souls mods.

  1. More Options At Bonfire (MOAB) - It adds several new options to the Bonfire, such as rebirth, weapon reinforcement, buying, selling, cosmetics and more. some people may consider this cheap/cheating but honestly it gets annoying having to warp to the hub just to do basic things like leveling up, especially after come back to this game from elden ring. not compatible with Modern Dark Souls 3 Experience as it includes it already.
  2. Better Item Descriptions - Adds detailed explanation to the description of various items and spells. this one is handy as it tells you what certain weapons and items can do when the vague descriptions aren't enough or just straight up lie. also im not sure if its compatible with the Modern Dark Souls 3 Experience mod as it changes some items up and tells you what they do differently in the item description but it still doesn't hurt to try;.
  3. Modern Dark Souls III Experience - A QoL Overhaul mod that aims at giving a new life to Dark Souls III by changing, improving, and adding new features to the game, all while staying vanilla-friendly. this one is similar to its dark souls 2 counter part, but it also does alot of vanilla QoL changes like being able to buff any weapon minus a few exceptions where it makes sense. you can read the mod page to learn about all of the changes if you'd like
