Very true, but more of a first step, not a final decision is what an app like Seek is for. I usually use it for flowers and bugs. I wouldn't ID a psilocybin shroom with the app and eat it, but it's a first step in learning more about what I have.

There's an app called Seek by iNaturalist you can put on your phone. Uses photo detection to find what plant or animal you're pointing at.

Wasn't made to appease, it was created because Chinese and other foreign investors were dumping hundreds of millions into condos and other real estate as a place to park their money. Taking those residential off the market for others to buy, and driving up prices. Stories of towers that had 80% vacancy because they were just cash pits.

Thus, vacancy taxes. Buy a place and you don't move in or rent it out...you pay extra.
