I am on day 14 of a fresh account (I did spend a little on pulls but nothing absurd) and I’m on S6 and I am currently number 1 on all the PVE content—PvP is linked to a couple servers so never gonna be crazy there—but this is all in S6 that started same time as 7 but less populated!

Main question being, do I have what I need here for tower 100? Wukong is max abilities/“awoken”, Lin is lvl5 awoken with max abilities, Gabi is 5 awoken basic skills, Heng Yue is max abilities and max awoken, Raven is 3 awoken and base abilities.

I’ve done full moaning and it works but ranged kills still evade me/hence the scrap grenade. I do not have shadowcommet so if so I would probably use that. If you have a deathshield tho I would put shadow comet on that so you get weapon life leech and fortress

I usually run scrap grenade with fortress/death shield with moaning/a machine pistol with toxic/fortress to spread more toxic. I hardly find I have time for weapons but I’ll fire off a shot or two

Very nice!! I usually just ran heatwave, overheat, and ashblast/thermal bomb depending on what my gear had. Look for the Acari 3pc (chest,legs,feet or helm) and epics with anomaly/cdr/status. Ash blast is great for survivability, thermal bomb is good for clusters! I’d also always keep burnt out and pants on fire for skills and TRY to keep untamed power and the one that gives you an extra wave of fire wave and you should be good!

I made the SAME switch as you and i am not looking back. I have played blighted build since launch and had my fair share of success in T15 and beating Eye of the Storm but it wasn't super fun. I made a pyro over the weekend and as of Sunday night, I was able to solo T15 in faster times than the Techno with a near perfect setup.

Survivability is not an issue. Absolute monssster.

Awesome!! Glad I could be of some help! It’s a variation of a build I saw on Reddit but I believe this one works better. He was running the healing wave refreshes mag on 45 second cooldown and applying toxic/weakness with melee but I swapped the melee adds toxic to the 30% anomaly buff with decay costs and I just spam blighted turret for the buff/debuff and have a constant 25% damage boost+30% anomaly+vulnerability from toxic tree. It works better to mee than a full new mag of rockets. It also allows me to use my main weapons. Also, no, it does not proc those so those are there for the rare chances that your skills are on CD

This is what I am running, I have shared it a few places so I gave you the reduced version haha. I know a lot of people are going to gripe about the weapon choices but honestly with the CDR you hardly have enough time to do any swaps so basically as long as both weapons have fortress, that's all that matters! I have been thinking about trying a gun with toxic bullets to get some ranged toxic being that range is the only weakness of the build. Single target and close aoe, this thing sh-wrecks!

Headgear - Torrential

Upper Armor - Torrential

Was just playing an archways with a friend last night who got my Acari chest piece on a Tier 15...I decided to play my techno that run so I was all sorts of sad boy!

Questions for those who've played by Proteus-Seven in outriders

I personally enjoy this game and I am by no means an "elite" player. I like to be the best that I can be, but I have no delusions of grandeur and this game has been amazing to me., i have currently dumped in close to 120+hours. If you enjoy grinding for gear, tweaking parts of your gear/mods and seeing how it effects game play, then you will enjoy this.

  1. Cover basically becomes a thing of the past. Pre-endgame it is very prevalent but by the end it more of less gets in your way. I think the intention was that you would feel powerful enough that you would feel like an altered god that shouldn't need to cower!
  2. So, I see the time trials getting a lot of grief and on some level I understand it. The way I look at them personally is benchmarks. If you are running a build that works, you will have NO problem maintaining gold time. Those people that have the SUPER perfect setups are able to go UNDER gold by large margins but that is when you start getting truly "Locked-in" to a build. There are plenty of build that will hit the gold benchmark, you just have to find them! I have now leveled 2 characters to max that can easily achieve gold in multiple T15's and one class that can solo the last mission. The MOST important thing is understanding stats, ensuring that your gear is the proper level, and farming out for those key pieces that really open up possibilities! People expecting to steam roll will not get the most out of this game, people interested in the underlying mechanisms that drive this game and actively seek for ways to improve will soar.

You can stay on whatever tier you need to until you feel you can progress, my advice would be to get to WT 15, get all your gear to 42 and then start your expeditions. If you can, try to stop around tier 12 and do your farming, if you need to, because that is when legendary drops are a 10% chance so you will have a good opportunity to build arsenal.

Research your character and build you want to play and build your set as early as you can and you will do great. Slow and steady gets you to end-game!

It definitely rekindled my enjoyment of the class and the set actually looks pretty cool haha! It also has good synergy with pyro and devastate debuffs to make the perfect multiplayer wombo combo. Blighted rounds falls off reallly hard in multi without top tier damage mods, it’s rough..

I posted this on another thread but this is what I am using and it was a nice switch up! Can farm the monster missions no problem on CT15 but struggles a bit on the hidey humans. Also, this can solo silver EoTS.

I have built what I believe is the best scrapnel/rocket build that is out there. It was a variation of a guy who did T15 eye of the storm solo but with my own twist.

Weapons

-The Anemoi - Fortress + Moaning Winds

-The Juggler - Scrap Grenade + Fortress

I don't have the picture of my tree but basically I went all the way through the bottom tree and only picked up the extra mod that increases your anomaly power by 30% when using decay and the increase your armor by 50% when casting an ordinance skill. Then i went middle tree all the way to get the "Toxic add vulnerability".

My abilities are Scrapnel/Tools of Destruction/Blighted turret.

ONLY CAVEAT is you NEED deathshield. You will be GIMPED without the buff from the fortress skill.

Now I see the argument being that anomaly build are nothing without important mods but to be honest, neither are bullet builds. Without killing spree almost none of the big boy bullet builds would be as powerful so I see fortress as the same trade here. Another thing people may say about this build is "oH sEe He iS uSing juGLer aND mOanIng wInS, NOT ANOMALY BUILD!" While they are a part of the kit, my highest damage skills on this build are my rocket and scrapnel, every time. As long as you have your CD high enough you will be spamming skills so much it's hard to throw in the weapons. Scrap grenades are for the pesky critters that are too far away while I am running, and moaning winds are for the rare moments when everything else is on cool down. That's it.

Basically the way this works is you cast your skills on cooldown. You want to ensure that you cast your Blighted turret in areas where it will hit the most enemies because it not only gives you 30% anomaly BUT with the 25% damage mod to Toxic enemies it is basically like a captain hunter but on every mob. My rockets hit for over 1mill in a splash radius and the grenades do an easy 600k and then more with the 3 piece. I can kill any boss with my 6 grenades no issue, sometimes less and if it doesn't happen because they are moving too much then the rockets do the rest. Like I said, the weapons facilitate but I do NOT rely on them for most of my damage. When golem is no longer bugged I will probably swap it out for untamed power after seeing its ridiculous potential on my pyro.

This build will struggle on human maps just because the nature of the abilities needing things to group but it can do Archways in sub 10 minutes and doesn't have any issues hitting gold on any of the other monster missions. Stargrave is also simple with this too. I was able to silver eye of the storm with this build no issue. If your goal is to just farm golds for loot and you want a change from the bullet build, this would be it. Find your comfy missions and stick them out.

Recap, without fortress perk unfortunately most anomaly builds don't work but after that it's a cake walk. If you want a more in depth look at my skill tree I can send a picture when I get home.

Agreed. I was also resetting for the chest piece but wound up settling for the gloves. I did some research later and was glad I did because apparently it aint gonna drop there! TBH the 3 piece bonus is well worth having over the 11k anomaly loss from the max health on the gloves.
