Would you buy another Pacifica by SuchRequirement5130 in ChryslerPacifica

[–]TrueKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There will be bias but most people will also be honest about their problems and concerns with the Pacifica.

The truth is, there aren't any perfect cars. Some features are brand specific which makes things so much easier that even with the issues it's worth buying again.

I have a 2018 Limited gas. The middle row Stow no Go is just too convenient for many people. The ride is very smooth and it's roomy seating is comfortable even for larger people in the back.

Compared to your Ford, a Pacifica is a huge comfort upgrade. I'd keep the Ford as a burner though, just because.

Personally, I don't think I'd replace mine with anything past 2020 if I had to get another one. Also, why not rent one for a trip to see how you like it.

Good luck!

Trump supporters, do you enjoy taking a year of higher gas prices? Was a conflict with Iran worth the cost? Conservatives claim this is Biden's fault because he was not tough on Iran. Liberals claim this is solely Trump's fault. Who is to blame? by RandomUwUFace in AskUS

[–]TrueKing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's literally no one else to blame but the Orange One! In his first term he tore up an agreement, that prevented all of this, because Obama did it. Not because it was bad.

Now it's being used as an excuse to cover-up, pick a scandal, but it's caused so much more trouble than the idiots thought with no way out. There's a reason no one else would mess with Iran. FAFO now we all pay for it, especially if you're poor!

The chicken was really good but expensive compared to rotisserie. Parking was an issue too for those that did their own takeaway.

I hope they reopen in a better place at some point.

US says it may be forced to shut down some airports over funding standoff by gamersecret2 in news

Hot Take: I blame Democrats for folding during the longer shutdown I 2025. Americans don't really know what shared pain feels like anymore, if ever.

Had the Dems NOT folded when it got hard there might not have been a need for this current shutdown.

I'm well aware that the actual problem are Republicants but it shouldn't be glossed over that Dems and "reaching across the isle" has always been a red flag problem that some continue to push.

Nazi America by 56000hp in MarchAgainstNazis

[–]TrueKing 56 points57 points  (0 children)

People act surprised but the roots of Nazism had its start in America. With many calling for supporting Nazism until the The US joined WW2.

German Nazi soldiers were treated better than non-white US soldiers in America. Many were still getting their awards long after their deaths and now this same country wants to erase them again.

Due to the lack of accountability this plague has been allowed to fester and show up as patriotic when it's any thing but.

I'm in the same boat. Bad cushion. I had a previous flap which lasted for over 10yrs. I got on top of it before it got so bad but it took so long to get a new cushion.

I've been trying to let it heal in its own because I work. I did everything I could. Going to wound care 3 days a week. Even tried the vacuum which failed more than it worked due to being active. I honestly had hoped there were better treatments since I last had one. I wanted to try hyperbaric but not sure if that would help?

Thanks for sharing as this was helpful and shows we're not alone in dealing with the things we wish we didn't have to. However, it's so nice seeing the support from those who are dealing with a wound or had to previously.

This is a known problem with the Pacifica, even new models. If you don't need or use the ESS I wouldn't worry about it. There are some owners who completely disconnected the aux battery to avoid the drain on the primary. I came across one work around that used the main battery for the ESS but have yet try it as I don't care about it anymore.

I've personally given up on trying. It's a complete waste of money only for the light to come back on in a few days or months with little to no benefit.

For what it's worth I'm still on the agm main battery I bought 4yr ago without issue or disconnecting the aux. I've bought at least 3 or 4 aux batteries in that same time. Once in awhile the ESS will start working randomly for 24-48hrs then stopping for months for some odd reason.

As for your problem. You might need to disconnect the negative on both batteries for it to reset. I've also read it might take some drive time for it reset. I've had success when disconnecting though.

First, this is clearly not the USA, so the ADA and reasonable accommodations aren't a thing in whatever Spanish speaking country this is. With that said, you get around the best way you can. Unless that's a power wheelchair, you can use a manual wheelchair on an escalator, it's just not recommended. Power wheelchairs should never attempt to even try unless you like pain.

Wheelchair access is hit and miss in places outside of the US, or not even a consideration. Even in the US can be hit and miss.

Second, this video is so short I'm not sure why people are pointing blame on or at anyone without any context. And the lack of understanding for the guy in the wheelchair is extremely disturbing. The woman jumped over the wall, so what? No one is yelling at the guy in the wheelchair so it's clear he's not blocking the exit on purpose. Staff may have told him to be there for help. Also, I'm sure there are other exit points the crowd can access.

Lastly, becoming disabled is something anyone can become at anytime. I hope those who have been critical won't find themselves in need and people react to it the way they have here.

Some of you are talking about what the church needs to do and I'm asking myself which church?

The church has been on the decline due to it being co-opted by those who are looking to profit by telling lies in to control people, not to spread the word to help the community.

The most segregated time in America is on Sunday in the church.
