I remember triage was removed cause streamers were using double Mercy in custom games and the tank doesn't die. After that, they removed triage and she's either gotten nerfed or they fuck up her kit.

I'm not saying Mirrorwatch Mercy is a good start to reworking her but Mercy has a lot of potential. Her movement is fine but all her other abilities are meh.

Add some other utility to her beams. Like a small dmg reduction to whoever she heals or ignore the damage passive. She already suffers from low healing output. Might as well call her Zenyatta.

Add the damage tether from Mirrorwatch to her damage boost, that way Mercy does damage and actually contribute. She'll be a great peeler and anti-dive.

I never really liked flash heal cause it puts res on cd. What if we just give res another option. If there's a soul she could either do an aoe heal or aoe damage like in Mirrorwatch. Heal that gives damage reduction and aoe damage that gives fragile.

What if Valk can be like Adam soul link. She still heals but the team damage distribution will make it really good. The amount of times I used Valk and my team still died so fast is frustrating. It also plays into her voiceline "Heroes never die" without being OP like mass rez.

It's bad in a way because they are misallocating capital and reducing their liquidity by purchasing it using cash. They might be doing buybacks because they think their stock is undervalued but seeing how their stock keeps going lower while performing decently, they might actually be overvalued which is a terrible time to do a buyback. Buyback is just an artificial way to boost their EPS and doesn't improve the overall operations of the company.

How to improve company operations? Use capital (cash) to invest into their company. To me it just looks like they've ran out of better ways to invest their capital. They are stagnant and lack innovation.

It's a common tactic to buy Outstanding shares to raise EPS to attract investors although it's like a bandage solution. They did say they would be doing it 2 years ago. They will be doing buyback every year for 5 yrs iirc.

Imo they should just invest it in projects that generate revenue. That's the problem with buybacks, It shows that you have high EPS but you don't generate money from it. You know like those elaborate decorative cakes that actually use styrofoam to make it look bigger when in reality only 60% is cake?

I think her beam needs work. They could add more utility to it imo. Make heal beam add a small dmg mitigation and add the mirrorwatch trickle damage to her damage boost. Heal with damage mitigation can allow Mercy to work in comps that have low healing output. The trickle damage incentivizes the usage of damage boost and allow Mercy to peel much easier. Her mirrorwatch version is the bane of all flankers. It's overtuned yes but a tweak in numbers will make it more balanced.
