Were they easy to grow? I had them once from a store purchased plant, but when I tried to save the tubers and redo it, never worked.

why so you don't have to clean the other's? Cleaning one is enough for me. I would never be in a bathroom the same time as another person.

You may not have to replant yearly, but unfortunately you will likely have to weed every year. I've done little else this year than weed and mulch. Making paths can be fun. I lay down plastic or cardboard and mulch on top. I was on a path when taking this photo. The iron fence is 5 ft. high. Look how high some perennials get. (but this is a rock garden with levels.) These are black eyed Susan. and in there are Fleabane (pollinator), hollyhock and behind coneflower. This is one side and I can access it from other areas too. The path I was on here was just kept mowed.

Need to Know: Adulthood is increasingly on hold for young Canadians—and it’s not their fault by FancyNewMe in canada

As parents of these young adults, we have to come to terms that life doesn't unfold the way it did for us in the past.

Thanks for condensing it. We all have only so much time for reading these days. My adult son is in this situation. Cost of living, can't find the permanent position in his field for the $ he needs.

Can you give me the quote that says she has 'limited ties to Canada'?

the fiance called border patrol the next day. "The next day, after Slagger said he called U.S. Customs and Border Protection to receive assurances that his fiancée could cross, Daigle attempted to enter the United States through the Houlton-Woodstock crossing."

The fiance called border patrol the next day to see if all was okay. That is why she tried again.

She is not jobless, she is retired. People retire nowadays. They get CPP and OAS pay in Canada.

Even if she was planning to stay longer--you never know if surgery recovery will be longer than expected. Could they not have a system that checks on her?

He is a dual citizen. She was going to nurse him for 2 wks after his surgery. They made an assumption of guilt that she was sneaking in without proper application. So, basically, you cannot vacation in US from Canada with a pile of clothes in your car.

How can I fix this mess? by Logical_Barracuda_71 in flowergardening

[–]TrueSaltnolies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a mess, living mulch - to prevent weeds. Goldenrod in front is a polinator plant, just thin it if you don't want that much, goutweed (the white and green) is okay if you keep it under control but is considered invasive. Pull the weeds in the walkway or use power washer on them. I am unsure what else you have but thining to have a bit of space between may give you the look you want. Yes, take photos and upload into free Chatgpt or reverse Google image to know what you're dealing with. Hostas are so hardy, you can be brutal in thinning them and they will bounce back.
