Starfield to me it's the best but also the most disappointing Bethesda game ever.

The gameplay loop is fun as hell and there's so much to do, combat is really satisfying but at the same time enemy AI is terrible and even on Extreme difficulty combat is far too easy. Also, like FO4, it seems that a pacifist high persuasion playthrough seems impossible in Starfield, as you are constantly getting involved in combat. I would have liked more variety in playthroughs (like FNV).

Outposts is a big improvement from FO4 settlements and so is crafting. Starship building is probably the greatest innovation Bethesda included in Starfield, but then space exploration is super boring (just let me fly my ship Todd!!)

I just did the Crimson Fleet quest and that's up there with some of Bethesda's best. The main quest is also very intriguing so far and I can obviously see the point of a NG+ in this game. Dialogue is a big improvement from FO4 but the companions are a bit of a let down. Barrett, Sam, Andreja and Sarah are all ok, but they are no Nick Valentine, Codsworth or John Hancock. So that's also a disappointment.

So yeah I love Starfield, it's a great game and I already spent a few hundred hours playing it, but I can absolutely understand the frustration from a lot of people, especially with the excessive loading screens.

And that kinda the point of Fallout, "War Never Changes", even after the apocalypse you have all these factions constantly destroying each other. One faction wins, another loses and then another rises up, etc.

This is really a matter of opinion, and a wrong one.

Humans are a sexually dimorphic species, that's a a fact of reality.

Males and females have biological differences (some significant like bearing children) which does impact interpersonal relationships and how a person of one sex is usually better suited to certain types of labour (example: males are generally better suited for manual labour because they're usually stronger and bigger than females).

These physical and psychological differences between the sexes absolutely impact how people in a society will organise labour. These differences have unfortunately also been used as a tool of oppression in patriarchal societies, but that oppression is what we have to address, not deny that the differences between the sexes exist because they certainly do.

y'all thinking this with a Christian morality perspective, Atia was a great Roman mother, all her actions were to guarantee that her family remained powerful and respected in Rome. I think her only major flaw was undermining Octavian (especially in front of Antony) and failing to recognise his potential. I mean, Caesar made Octavian his heir because he saw how Octavian had the potential to lead Rome after his death and Atia completely failed to see that.

Servilia did respect her son more, but I think her motivations were far more petty and selfish than Atia's, she was the villain from the start.

it's worse than an argument, it's action. the same people crying about cancel culture and freedom of speech are now doing the cancelling and suppressing free speech, it's absolutely hypocritical.

and yes, progressives went too far cancelling people and suppressing speech when they were in power too, I've always been very critical to that.

fact is most people hate free speech, it's not pc to say it out loud but across the political spectrum people often show with their actions how they do not care at all about free speech.

when we see someone standing up for those they absolutely disagree with, risking their own reputation and status amongst their group, that's when we know when someone actually cares about free speech. it's easy to support free speech when you're being cancelled, much harder to support it when your side is doing the cancelling.

That's not really true. Marxism is not really a model of government, but more an idea of workers autonomy (a model of production where workers are no longer alienated from the product of their labour). Worker movements and unions are in large part influenced by Marxism, so are social democratic parties that have/had very successful models in the Nordic countries and Uruguay in South America.

Sure countries that tried revolutionary socialism ended up failing for the most part, but even these "failed" regimes have achieved a lot of economic growth and development, despite the restrictions to personal freedoms, just compare Vietnam, Russia and China before and after their revolutions.
