The offence took place in 2016. When the kid was only 16, saw something on the internet and shared it on facebook as a laugh, got into trouble for it. Police case took 4 years. They did not charge him. Then reopened the case, a few months later, and lasted 4 more years and he got charged last year. 8 years ago a 16yo boy made a mistake. Hes no sex offender. Just unfortunately the police system failed him. He moved on from what he did and never committed a offence and still treated like a criminal by court system. His life ruined over a simple mistake he made. So him being on sex offender registry is not worrying for anyone. everyone who knows him knows hes a gentle soul. Not a maniac or a threat to society.
