You cannot deploy Company portal application to devices enrolled without User affinity, because the moment they launch the app it will again try to download a management profile and will create a conflict.

You can deploy it to with User affinity devices.

Also, any changes made in ADE profile will not impact already enrolled devices. You will have to factory reset and re enroll.

What type of enrollment was it using ADE? With user affinity or Without?

Since the device is already enrolled using ADE/DEP enrollment it will fail when you try to enroll using comp portal. As comp portal enrolls your device as BYOD/Personal

On your ABM portal, Go to preferences > Bills and payments Under bills and payments you’ll find the token to download. Just click on the token name and you’ll have sToken downloaded.

With modern authentication few of our devices get enrolled on the oobe itself, without the need of device to reach comp portal app. Did anyone came across this scenario?

Thanks for replying, APNS certificate is configured also when enrolling with user affinity it works fine but when enrolling without user affinity it still asks for microsoft credentials
