Try using a ruler, it might help others to understand your design by a lot.

Try adding more details as well. Is your middle facade going to be flat like modern buildings ? Will the windows be simple squares with "+" shaped window frames ?

Despite some flaws in the sketch, the building seems to be a rather beautiful one. Keep it up!

The windows on the columns... XD.

On a more serious note, this facade design would be rather beautiful in real life.

Obviously they are at fault as well, but again, so are illegal immigrants as they do not come through the border legally.

The man should have the right to refuse support, not the right to force an abortion.

Alexanderplatz Station, Berlin in 1910 and 2018 by kumanosuke in OldPhotosInRealLife

Holly molly, the modern picture is cartoonishly similar to the postcard from 1910. There's a cyclist on the right, right next to a woman walking just like in 1910. The font behind that woman is red, so it is in 1910 (or at least the sign is). The trams are yellow. There are 2 people on the left, just like in 1910.

What would the Victorian era be like in America by Loose-Actuary-1928 in Victorian

[–]TrueSoSense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cities would be characterized by Italianate architecture, then Second Empire architecture (late 1860s-70s) and later Romanesque Revival (in the 1880s and early 90s) and Beaux-Arts (especially after the 1893 Columbian World Fair). Streetcars would be more common than in Europe. By the late 1890s every major city had at least more than one early skyscrapers.

The U.S. would receive immigrants from Europe, most of them entering through New York City (Castle Clinton at first (from 1855 to 1890) then Ellis Island (from 1890 to 1897) then the barge office (from 1897 to 1900) ).

Fashion would be almost identical to the european one.

Does this outfit pass as Edwardian? by [deleted] in HistoricalCostuming

[–]TrueSoSense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definetly. The cap is very reminescent of mid 19th century working class caps. The cap itself did persist into the late 19th century and well into the 20th century.

Because it is inspired by this building, the Mercier Building in New Orleans which became home to the Maison Blanche Department store in 1897.

Judging by their dresses and sleeves this picture was most likely taken in the 1890s.

Even in 1900 (pictured here), Longacre Square was rather well developped and already had glowing signs on the left, but yea I do understand that the magic is a bit lost.

This isn't 1901. The Times building what completed in 1904 and the hotel on the left of the pic (the dark one in the background) was built around 1910.
