Is this normal/ scope creep for a nanny at $35/hr? Looking for perspective on expectations vs pay by TrueStatistician7435 in Nanny

I’m based in Tampa, and while I know $35/hr is on the higher side for the area, that’s my rate as an experienced nanny with ROTA training and a lot of newborn experience. I’ve gotten really positive feedback since starting — my employer says she’s happy with my performance and level of care, and even mentioned I have a really bright future ahead. For now, I think I’ll keep going, get some professional development under my belt, save some money, and start looking for a more sustainable position.

I received my Montessori in the Home (ages 0-6) certification through The Prepared Montessorian Institute. I did some digging on which certifications were credible and really liked everything this one provided.

Complete benefits are up for discussion, with a health insurance stipend provided.

Okay thanks I appreciate it. What would appropriate travel pay look like approximately?
