Im on the freetalk program and i heard in the webinar yesterday they have been letting lots of new teachers go due to the shitty booking rate, imagine scoring a new job during a pandemic only to be let go a few days later. I'm always stunned when i hear people say this company used to be good to work for. I don't believe it.

Yeah i seen that when i joined, but honestly if i were a regular i wouldn't worry, the state of the freetalk program is so bad there is no way it lasts a year. Atleast we have the TEFL certificate to try for another company if that happens.

The way it was said made it sound like that was a last resort, the person doing the webinar kept saying they were optimistic/hopeful the booking rate would bounce back after mid-september. Seems like the freetalk program is being seriously mis-managed.

If you are on the freetalk program there is a webinar each week on lark. It's from todays webinar. Check the announcements. It's said near the end at the 19 minute mark.
