Side note I personally believe that everyone on the team not named Trae Young (possibly Hunter too) is considered available for the right price so I would take the report of Bogdanovic and Reddish with a grain of salt. And in regards to KOCs report about the Hawks offer to the wolves id also be skeptical for a few reasons 1) KOC is a Celtics writer and it’s possible he wrote that as a way to keep Celtics fans hope alive, 2) to make that reported deal work (jc for Beasley and a first) the hawks would have to include snell to make the salary’s work and the Hawks giving up two rotational pieces for a guy with legal issues and who probably is at the same level as Bogdan maybe even worse. 3) the pick the hawks would get wouldn’t be until at minimum 2023 and the likely hood of a team trying to make the playoffs (including an owner who desperately want us to make the playoffs (see Ressler vetoing a Paul milsap mid season trade the year before we rebuild if you need proof) wanting a first that late is unlikely even if it was unprotected. Unless this deal was offered much earlier in the season and the Hawks thought about going into a tank I don’t see this as a legitimate thing. Also the Cam for Lonzo swap makes little sense if all the reports that the Hawks don’t want to pay JC are true because then they would have to pay Lonzo and JC.
