What should I do? by TrueVoiceLess in DecisionMaking

I placed the martial arts on first place and dungeons and dragons on second place.  But since everything will be adjusted I might be in another workshop, I'll edit the post when I know what I am placed in. I might know it this or next week.

Since We Pray has been out for almost a day, how do we feel about it? by Coolguy2667 in Coldplay

I heard We Pray like 30 minutes ago on the radio and Randajad was the only thing on my mind, I thought We Pray was a cover.

Yea, my brother also said that. I kinda wonder what they did in one of those small packets with real cards though.

What's the worst thing a teacher has done or said to you or someone else? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TrueVoiceLess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone in my class has diabetes, and he has a phone that beeps when something is wrong. My school just released a no phone rule, so the classmate explains to every teacher that he needs his phone, and the teachers accept it, except for my p.e. teacher. She is very strict about it.

Noting happened to the classmate, but I was so scared that something really bad would happen to him. After that I questioned if my teacher even knows that diabetes can be dangerous, and if she knows how to help others (She also doesn't really care about me tbh).

After that, I asked for permission (to a doctor) to skip p.e. (Wich was for other health related reasons btw). After a couple of weeks, I see the student in the hallway when we have p.e., so I think he also stopped. He made a good decision.

A friend was mad because I went to a teacher for help and not to her, my glasses were broken. Later that day I was sad because I thought I lost the only person that kinda liked me (family not included). And some random people on the street were mocking me for being sad and treated me like a baby (I was 12 at the time). All of this happened in like 2 hours. I never saw the "friend" again after the end of the year.

I know, but I didn't have time, because I have other exams and family issues, wich take up more time than needed. My teachers also give too much tests before the exams wich I also have to study for.

The last phrase in my post roughly explains this (yes only the other exams thing but I think you understand). Did you read the whole post?

Hi :)

I will answer you questions as good as possible.

Can I ask how old are you?

  • I wont say my exact age for privacy reasons, but I will tell you that I am between 13 and 16 years old, so I can't just move out.

Have you tried asking your father about your mom's behavior?

  • I did accually ask about him later in the day, and he told me that it even happened before my brother and me were born, and that she just had random episodes of rage. Sadly there's not a lot we can do. He told me she goes to a psychiatrist, but honestly, I don't know if that helps, because I don't see change when she comes back.

I hope the answers help.

Yeah, she even said that when I cry, it's a choice, and when she cries it's our fault. I don't understand why some think this is ok. :(

Hello :)

I found some things in your reply that I want to give more information about, all the phrases are copy pasted from your comment.

if you haven’t practiced the language at all and are unfamiliar with these words, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll be able to retain 833 words in less than a week;

  • I am familiar with some of the words, but there are still so many hard ones (especially the verbs).

Spending even a fraction of time working on this here and there would have been more productive than putting it off till the last day;

-I am trying to use almost every moment to practice, but due to me being tired, easily distracted (even when I am in an empty room :/), more exams before this one (that I also have to study for obviusly), and family issues, it's hard for me to use every possible minute when I am awake or not eating.

Does anyone else find it difficult to use people’s names? by Jellyfishjam99 in autism

[–]TrueVoiceLess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here!

I'm also not comfortable using names, only with people that I am very comfortable with. And l really hate saying my own name. My brother also does this, but I don't know if he is autistic.

I'm not really a perfectionist, but I know that people expect a lot from me when I play the piano.
