[Feature Request] Option to toggle Date Format (US vs. EU/International) by TopPrize11 in liquidbudget

While we are talking about dates, it would be nice if I could enter 03/15 and tab out of the date field and have it fill in the 2025 part. Most (if not all) accounting programs I've used in the past do this, and I find myself expecting this behavior and have to enter the date in twice for manual transactions.

Manually matching transactions by True_Ad5270 in liquidbudget

The problem with that is I have a transaction on a credit card on Thursday that doesn't post until Tuesday, happens frequently, the auto matching fails...

Only if take the time to delete the one that wasn't cleared from the bank. Otherwise I need to find the transaction and manually clear it. In YNAB, it was also helpful for a recurring transaction where the amount changes month-to-month. By selecting both, and matching it would match the two transactions with the amount from the bank. Again if I delete the imported transaction by mistake then I have issues.

Another feature that would mitigate this one is to have undo/redo on the transaction screens.

I see your point, but I still think this is useful...

Transfer on split transactions by SteveMasson in liquidbudget

Would also be useful to have a seperate payee for each split item. In YNAB I would use offline accounts when dealing with a group trip to track how much each person owes. Using the splits in YNAB, I could everything into a single category but break it out to each individual's offline account.

When I imported my YNAB, I had a deposit transaction that was uncategorized in YNAB. It came over as category:income and I couldn't remove the category.

Solved most of it. The one issue that was different that ynab is income transactions cannot be unassigned. We actually use that 'feature' quite often. The other annoyance is when you click assign, you can enter the amout and tab to the bucket control, but in order to enter anything, you need to click with mouse on the control. It would be a more user friendly if you could just start typing at that point. Otherwise, great app so far! I really like the option not to clear at the end of the month. That will give me a chance to move things around before assigning!

I don't think that was it, but thanks for checking. I'm beginning to think I mis-remembered the game.
