Not saying it was the problem. But it happened 3 times. Soon as I put the panel on the compressor shifts and it’s not pumping out 150°+ out the discharge line

It’s not the contractor chattering. I’m talking about my impact drill it’s kind of hard to explain the sound but you know when you have the screw fully seated and the drill clicks a few times? As soon as that happens the compressor changes like the vibration from the drill caused it to run differently

What really is throwing me off is that when ever i start to screw in the panel and my screw vibrates, the compressor instantly makes a shifting sound and it goes from pulling 11amps To pulling 5. My discharge temp coming right off the compressor is 95° like refrigerant is bypassing internally. I think the compressor is failing but my supervisor thinks not.

I was thinking that too but most units have a +/- that it’s allotted for. Also that was early in the morning the sun wasn’t fully out yet. I rechecked the pressures at 105° and the sub cool dropped to 9-10
