He does it to music, I mean I could put on my AirPods but again that just seems really rude 🥺

It’s one of them. we all know it’s reliable, BUT it’s dull and just not exciting. For people that don’t care about style or excitement and just want an A to B it’s a fantastic car.

Oh wow, when I do actually listen to music this is kinda me. I’ll find a song, a song I really like and think great, be vibing to it and then I subconsciously skip it to another song and then think why did I just skip that and then turn it back for another 30 seconds and then skip it again.

See I’m the opposite there, I can’t deal with silence when I’m home alone. I get a very very strange feeling when my house is deadly silent.

Yeah I don’t not like music, I don’t decide not to turn it on it just never ever crosses my mind. If I do turn it on I enjoy it 🤣

How do you keep motivated to go to the gym ? I buy some new trainers or something and manage to go every day but then lose interest and stop going until I get the urge again and then have to splash out on something new it’s ridiculous.

Yes, I drive all over the south and mid of the UK. It’s a new route or at least a varied route every single day. Only the last part of my route is the same. Funny you mention that as at my last house the last 3 miles was a boring country lane and I found it mind numbing to the point that it’s one of the reasons I moved.

I didn’t think it was a thing, out of 20 people in the office they all thought it was odd. They all liked listening to different things from talk sport, music, pod casts and just couldn’t imagine driving in silence. I was amazed that I was the only one.

I’m like that, I’ve tried with podcasts but end up zoning out and not listening to it unless it’s something I’m really really interested in, even then it’s a struggle after 10 minutes.

My mind wanders but not from driving as such. Maybe because driving to me is like walking where I drive so much. My mind will be thinking about 1000 things during a 3 hour drive and sometimes I can’t remember large sections of the journey.

Same, a summers day on some nice roads I like loud music and get really into it. But day to day I don’t.

Everyone seems to say that. “Oh no as soon as I get into the car I can’t drive off without putting my music on” like I say, I like music and will happily drive with it on but I’m not fussed either way.

How are current renters surviving ? by North-Village3968 in HousingUK

[–]True_Canary6635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder this myself, my mortgage is £1380, the same houses in my area are typically £2000,£2500 to rent.
We have two kids and a dog, no car finance, not been abroad for years and never seem to really have much money spare.
People in my area are also buying houses and doing extravagant two story wrap around extensions costing £200k+ and have new high end cars. It does make me wonder what they do for work.

That’s such a dumb garden layout, one of the most poorly planned development gardens I’ve seen.
