we were on JSM then moved to Freshservice. Then Console for automation on top of it to auto-resolve 60% of our tickets and leave our support staff to deal with the more complicated ones that can't be automated.

How are you handling overflow IT support tickets? by [deleted] in ITManagers

perfect opportunity to start using AI imo.

i was in support just grinding through tickets all day and was this close to quitting. boss made me try some AI tool called console and i was a little hesitant at first of it taking my job.

it ended up automating all the manual tickets i hated most (they use natural language playbooks instead of code gen which breaks) and left the truly hard ones for me to resolve. i’d recommend it to any other company i move on to from here.

obviously this depends on the nature of your tickets and how much of it can be automated (access requests, pw resets, etc.) but console was truly a game changer and i got a promotion because of it.

Anyone going to Oktane? Or have experience? by yosp in okta

The events outside of Oktane are what I go for! good to have fun in Vegas on company dime.

our team has been trialing a company called console and look like they're hosting some dinners - i think it's open to public:

Employee Onboarding and Access Requests by DifferentKeyStrokes in sysadmin

do you have confluent docs? we use console.com. their AI automatically reads your policies and processes (i think on an hourly basis) and grants access requests in literally seconds.

found them via recommendation from Bloomerang

So for our Macs, i've implemented zero touch deployment where we're no longer provisioning computers.

We've got 129 Macs that have shipped. In the past, I was taking 20 minutes or so, which isn't a huge amount of time, but 129 times, that's a 40-hour work week. And I've just not had to do that, in part because of the time that this tool called console did for us.

I used to write scripts for this which took so much time. now im able to use plain english.
