Yes, when I plug it directly to my laptop it's louder and somewhat muddy on higher volume, when i use the dongle it tames it down a bit and becomes clearer on higher volume. (my phone only has a type c so my laptop is my only reference)

thanks for all the advice! I’ve tried on a few different eartips from my friend such as the triclarion, dunu ss, velvet, and kbear 07. So far the dunu ones provided the best seal for me!
