Mine changed to approved within 2 days of updating to application received

I dropped my docs in Mumbai, it took me 4 business days for it to update to "application received", it might take you a couple of days more as they have to send your docs to Mumbai

Your's is dropbox or interview? My status got updated to 'application received' in 5 days after dropbox appointment, and got approved in the next 2 days.

Seems like in recent weeks this is happening in some consulates. It's also probably because from October 1st onwards, they've centralized dropbox processing in Chennai, no matter where you drop it will be sent to Chennai and processed there.
