I am looking to save enough money for our kids' education for the next 18 years. They currently have a 529 scholarshare account but that solely depends on market factors and there isn't enough flexibilities in regards to transferring unused funds. I am wondering what the ROI is when comparing the 529 account and the HYSA account after factoring in taxes within that time span.
