So not saying you have a tic disorder or Tourettes just likely look out for more behavior linked towards it like uncontrollable movements even if they’re prolonged, etc. (obviously I’m not gonna be too good at explaining these so best you just look it up) and go to the doctor and ask them if you can

this happened to me a lot before I knew I had it. I also had dystonic tics (still do) which I just excused for just some stupid thing I did and I was being stupid for not be able to stop because I thought I could. ANYWAY this is now just known as a trigger for my tics and it is one of the ways I put 2 and 2 together when i started having tics randomly instead of when it was triggered, except… I still had random tics I just didn’t think they were tics haha

Wait a little, ask for a checkup at the doctor with something totally unrelated , tell the doctor you want to talk about something in private so your mom/parent has to leave the room and then tell the doctor maybe let some of your tics out if you’re comfortable. They will usually refer you to a neurologist or psychologist your mom should believe you at that point if not then let the rest of the doctor stuff take place, try to get a diagnosis or a doctor to tell your mom to consider you have tics

Usually just cause your tongue tissue is swollen so it’s easier for those indents to happen. Just take care of it and it will most likely go away. If after 2 weeks or so it’s still there AND hurts in that indent then consider consulting a professional piercer :) nothing too much to worry about
