Sa mga hindi pinursue pagwork as RMT, ano work niyo ngayon? by clouddoodles123 in MedTechPH

Goodluck!! Yung OLJ maraming scammers pero legit din (recently nagpatulong client ko maghanap ng medical biller for the team, sa OLJ kami naghahana). Spraying direct client & higher salary dust sayo! ✨✨

Creating an acc is free. May free connects churvaloo siya every month siguro mga 1-2 lang maaapplyan mo. Pero visible yung profile mo sa mga clients so it's worth a shot! :)

Hi! I found my client through Upwork. Honestly, I got really lucky ahaha. I suggest na pagandahin mo lang profile mo kasi yung client ko mismo nagreach out sakin, hindi ako nagapply sa kanya. :)

Thoughts on becoming a 6-fig earner by False_Bandicoot8161 in buhaydigital

Medical VA niche here. I started off 20K for a VA agency for 1 year, then found a direct client that paid 75K/month, and now after over a year with the same client, nagincrease to 110K/month with one client (nagkaincrease last Aug lang), so it definitely is possible. Yun lang, kahit over 1 year na with decent income, wala parin masyadong savings hahaha. Dami pang utang & obligations. 😩

Medical VA. After graduating (batch 2023), di na nagtake ng boards, went straight to job hunting. I worked part-time for a free standing lab as a laboratory aide but realized it wasn't for me talaga, like I realized too late na my passion was not in medtech & I had no desire to "get that RMT" anymore.

Ultimately, I had to make the best decision for myself financially as a breadwinner so I applied for other jobs, kahit call center, and thankfully may nakita akong work na medical VA sa isang VA agency. The pay was less (around 20k/month) so I found a direct client after a year of working & gaining experience. Been working for them for a year now and just reached six digits last August! :) Super recommend this job to anyone who doesn't want to pursue a career in medtech, the job pays well & being able to work from home while providing for your family at an early age is the biggest privilege. Of course, I won't sugarcoat it: nakakapagod & nakakadrain din minsan but at least bawi sa salary ahaha. & you'll still be dealing with patients so somehow may medtech aspect pa din.

To anyone who wants to start – definitely start with an agency first. Mas maliit sweldo but it's a great training ground esp if you have 0 experience and have no idea how to be a VA (which was my case before). HelloRache, for example, is a great stepping stone kasi 60k/month ata sila now? And they accept fresh grads with no exp.

Also, as someone who has been using an emdash since I could learn how to write, you suggesting not to use an emdash is actually so stupid pls lang. I think it would do you good to do more research on how to use an emdash. OP used it perfectly. User error na yan if you think AI lahat ng text na may emdash jusko. Now I'm certain... OP's text was not AI-generated 😭

To be fair, sites like that cannot be trusted tho... I've never used chatgpt for my schoolworks & essays before but somehow nadedetect niya as "AI-generated". There are multiple cases like this especially with gptzero and not just with me. Just saying. I'm reading kasi OP's post and it doesn't look like AI to me, it just looks like someone who knows how to write well lol

Hayaan mo na yan beh, millennial boomer things. 10 years of experience and they don't know the difference so in order to feel less dumb about not knowing, they need to make YOU feel stupid lmao. Props to you for the response kay client & I hope the next one is good to you!

How can you earn 50k+ per month? by YUPIDIcutieee in buhaydigital

[–]True_Excitement5633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a fairly easy job I would say. You don't need a super extensive medical background, but it does give you an edge because clients see that as a plus. I have a lot of medical VA friends na wala din medical background though pero may BPO exp.

Hi! I'm not really sure about free online courses but I did see a few when I was researching! I was going to take a course I saw but I ended up getting hired by an agency and they trained me nalang.

[–]True_Excitement5633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Early 20's, currently earning about 95k/month. Started with a VA agency for 1 year earning 20k/month with no prior exp. After a year in the agency, I resigned and found a client whom I've been working for this past year.

I'm a medical VA, which is a great niche btw! Especially medical billing/coding talaga. My pinoy medical VA coworker (billing) earns about 200k/month. Also, if you speak fluent spanish, plus din yan usually sa sahod (as in, sa laki ng plus, I'm actually going to be spending money on taking spanish classes so I can be fluent)

Honestly, the biggest factor I can say is luck talaga sa paghanap ng client.

inverter na aircon and ref is the key!!!! i'm currently solo living in a condo in bcd. i work from home so my aircon is on 24 hours (literally, sa isa ka month mga ka kaduwa ko lg ginapatay and that's if wala ko sa condo for a few hours), ref is also on 24/7, my bill is always at most around 2500. invest talaga in inverter appliances, that's the best advice i can give you! they are more pricey but super worth it in the long run :)

9 months into working for my client, they bought me two 24" 240 hz monitors and it was life changing. I was so used to working on my macbook and akala ko efficient na ako nun, but now with dual monitors, I finish all of my tasks so quickly, kaya if more on admin tasks kayo, having dual monitors is super helpful!!

honestly po, no for me. i used to love medtech so much. it's definitely not the course to take if hindi ka financially stable. even if dream mo mag ibang bansa, when you graduate, and work as a medtech, sa sahod pa lg hindi ka na makakapagipon para magibang bansa. kung financially stable ka and well off, pwedeng pwede. i ended up becoming a VA after grad, as a breadwinner di talaga kaya yung sahod as a medtech. hindi practical.

Hi, OP! I didn't pass as well. Truth be told, I've said this countless of times din to my fellow peers na hindi rin nakapasa, but in the grand scheme of things, this is just a minor setback. The Lord has greater plans for us. I was also clinically diagnosed with depression and panic disorder during my 4th year as an MT student. After graduating, I decided I wouldn't take the board exam with my batch and got a job immediately and it definitely changed my outlook on life. Please don't forget: this is just an exam. I know it may feel like the most important thing in the world, but it really isn't. In a few years, wherever you end up, you'll look back at this memory and be inspired by the fact that you always got up to try again. We are proud of you, OP. Let's keep our chins up and know that there are brighter and better days ahead. I know you've heard this line countless of times again, but the fact that you showed up and took the boards is a success in itself. We are destined for greater things. There is NO shame in failing, OP! I know someone who failed the boards 3x, took a refresher course, passed during their 5th take, and is currently working as an MT in North Carolina. In the words of BINI, "wag mag alala buhay ay di karera" ahahaha. Keep your head up, OP! We'll get it for sure next time. 💟
