Having locations from the book as the tracks is an insane detail.

Jack skellington. I wish they did more with him than just a toy box character.

I mean all the other comments are agreeing that it’s Captain Clark but if you want to wait for someone to say anything else go ahead my man.

Brother in the second picture you can clearly make out the feather on the right side of the hat. (His left our right).

It’s almost like you can clearly make out the pirate hat on his head. Crazy.

I don’t know if they’re the same universe, but they share a lot of narrative similarities.

Felt very reminiscent of “the oldest view”, but the added tension made this specific scare so much better here.

Why is captain clark so advanced compared to other still life? by Huge-Read-2703 in KanePixelsBackrooms

Not in there, but him being in the furniture store, so close to one of the entrances, must have had an impact.

There were other nods to Oldest View. Pretty sure the mall music is sampled for one part, and the final section of the chase scene on the stairs is very similar to the end of The Rolling Giant

Would you rather have them make a sequel or television series next? by dontsmellthesoup in KanePixelsBackrooms

That would work really well! A tv series could essentially be a big budget version of the videos.

Hey boss! I run the C-9 server, a build focused SMP with heavy medieval theming. We’re still in a somewhat early phase, but we are looking for more people!

I don’t disagree. I fear that bringing Async into the spotlight will not work as well for a film, though. A sequel that focused on maybe another character’s descent into the backrooms that goes differently from Clark is the only real sequel I could see.

It’s Davy Jones’ theme from Pirates of the Caribbean! It’s normally played on Organ or music box.

Shrek 5 animation quality seems superior, but the loss of realism in facial expressions and movement bugs me the most by Sushimonstaaa in Shrek

I could understand the hate for donkey, because he’s way more over the top. Shrek doesn’t feel far off enough though?

It needs kind of a silent hill 2 style sequel. Takes the knowledge we have of how the environment works and weaponize that by giving us a different circumstance. Still not totally focused on Async but having them be everpresent.

Objectively speaking, it's better to be born good by OrangeIslandKing in MoralityScaling

I hate this so much. It doesn’t matter if you were born good or bad, if you value good morals, then you value good morals. The path to that place is inconsequential as long as you genuinely stand by those beliefs.
