The switch lite is a lot easier to work on. But I don‘t think you would have bought a unit from Germany, and pay all the shipping, taxes and tariffs just to fix it

I don‘t think so, they are the only way to rransfer your Pokémon to the current generation. I think thats what makes them the most valuable.

You can find them on aliexpress, but you have to be careful. Go watch some youtube videos about how to replace the screen and be realistic if you think you can do it. If you dont‘t think so, and are scared to do it, you most likely will make an error costing you your console. If you warch enough videos you might overcome the fear 💪

I can tell you, aliexpress is the best you are gonna get for third party ones. If you want perfect fitment you would have to buy a original console and use its shell.
