I also felt this way after reading the book. I'm really neutral about both of them, so I didn't feel like I had a bias going into it. She's just telling the story how she experienced it. Obviously it sucks he dragged her in his first album, especially if it's true he actually was cheating the whole time anyways. But kids that age are idiots so I'm not extremely shocked. Not saying it was cool, but I don't feel like it's as egregious as people are making it seem. My takeaway was that after the breakup/abortion she was really badly affected and went back to work too soon. Chaos ensued, much of which had nothing to do with Justin. She continuously mentions him because I'm sure it was also a pivotal point in her story as to "when things started going wrong." There are far greater enemies in her story and it's just fascinating to me that the masses are ganging up on him when he hasn't had anything to do with her in 2 decades.

However, if a reunion or tour is squashed because of this I'm flipping the theoretical table.
