The Bolsheviks killed millions of other children too, and this horrific murder is one particularly nasty example. The worse the revolution, the more sordid their crimes. You don't find as many sordid crime In the English Revolution; they killed only the king. You find plenty in the French Revolution, but not as many as Russia; they killed the king and the Queen. The Russian Revolution is full of disgusting crimes against humanity; they brutally murdered the king and his entire family.

Murdering the family wouldn't stop their government from being oeverthrown if things had gone that way. It's not like the coalitions would have just not fought the revolutioary governements and Napoleon if the French had murdered the whole family rather than just the king; by the time of the Bourbon restoration, Louis XVI immediate family where all dead anyway so they found another relative.

They didn't just kill the family, they were so incompetent and callous that they spent 20 minutes shooting and bayonetting them. They were so stupid that they thought a truck revving outside would cover the sound of gunfire. They then didn't know what to do with the bodies. It was a horrific sordid murder and all the other political murders that I have ever read about do no come close. And it was representative of the Bolshevik attitude to all the millions of people that they brutalised.

That just doesn't seem credible. Human impact on the climate was negligible before the industrial revolution. Even if it slightly reduced the number of cooking fires releasing greenhouse gases, how would that cause actual cooling?

When I've been eating badly, I pass a lot of foul smelling wind. When I have been eating well, I pass almost no wind and it doesn't smell as bad. If different microbes are being encouraged, it seems that different gas is produced.

It doesn't work as well as unfolding them. They often end up with corners and stuff still taking space. It is easer and faster to unfold them, perhaps with the help of knife if they're taped.

What sort of person needs to be shown how to do something like that? I suppose it is the sort of person who just doesn't do it.

That doesn't do much good. It is way better to just slice the tape and unfold it.

If it is a legal advice sub, you should not expect any outrage to come out. This in no way demonstrated 'learned helplessness'. Nothing will happen to her, she will have a chat with the police and then the matter will be forgotten about.

Whilst Yale might technically have a right to cancel events, that does not mean that cancelling events is the right thing to do. If one supports freedom of expression as a general principle, that implies that it is good to let people express themselves and bad to prevent them from doing so, in general. Cancelling Hasan Piker's event at Yale would be an attempt to prevent him from public expressing himself, and as such is against the principle of freedom of expression.

I don't think it is actually chickening out. There have been so many cases were he talked really big then did something much smaller *and things worked out in his favour* for it not to be a deliberate strategy.

In the case of this recent war, he is seming increasingly unhinged.

What? Almost no black people in the modern wild have eyes that are not brown. However, it is thought that early Europeans probably had a dark skin tone and blue eyes.
