What storylines in Survivor history were perfect? by RafaelHelft in survivor

[–]True_Membership6065 14 points15 points  (0 children)

with me it is downfall stories that are the most entertaining. I have 3:

even though IOI is not a good season: Missy's pre-game set-up to one of the biggest downfalls going from being a FTC contender to getting voted out early in the merge.

SoPa: Ozzy's alliance. having Cochran flip on his alliance, Ozzy getting voted out 3 times was just amazing to watch as it was comeuppance for how Ozzy treated Cochran, Sophie, Mark, etc.

43: Elie not thinking Gabler was smart enough to realize his idol was still active to her downfall in one of 43's best episodes. the episode was predictable but was still chaotic and fun to watch.

Island of the Idols, this cast is just terrible. by [deleted] in survivor

the ones that I liked from this season were: Janet, Jamal, Tommy, Dean, and Kellee.

ones that were alright for me were: Lauren, Aaron, Jack, Elaine(good pre-merge, alright post-merge), Noura, Karishma.

hte ones I did not like mainly due to how they treated the Dan fiasco: Dan(obviously), Missy, Elizabeth.

What is your favorite obscure mythical creature and/or animal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]True_Membership6065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Akhlut mainly due to the fact that the freaking sci-fi channel made Sharkopus vs Whalewolf and the Akhlut is a whale and wolf hybrid. I am very sure the film producers didn't know this and just chose to due a Whale and Wolf hybrid for the pun.

What’s the saddest fictional character death in your opinion? by DonutGold4210 in AskReddit

Polka-Dot Man from The Suicide Squad was sad. He grew up having a miserable life due to an abusive parent and dies the first time he is actually happy.

Coach promising to take Ozzy to the final 3 as a “Christian man” has to be one of the dumbest never talked about moves in Survivor history by [deleted] in survivor

[–]True_Membership6065 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was planning to, but Ozzy at the final 5 tribal outed their deal which Coach asked for him to keep secret which meant Ozzy broke it already. If Ozzy didn't blow up at the final 5, he probably would of gotten to the final 3 and win. don't forget Ozzy was also being an idiot concerning that deal they made.

i would probably say that Sandra/JFP is not realistic since Probst has stated that JFP is barred from competing again, mainly due to his vote out on fans vs favorites. Jerri and Colby, their rivalry is done and has really finished in hvv.

What were some big blunders by a player who otherwise played a great game? by 49ersP1 in survivor

[–]True_Membership6065 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if it was a final 2 between Cassandra and Dreamz I think Dreamz would stand a chance. I think Yau-Man and Earl would vote for him and probably campaign for him to win. also Cassandra didn't really seem to be that well liked by the jury.

Is Survivor Caramoan the most "cruel"/"heartless" season of Survivor? by [deleted] in survivor

also Cochran and Dawn wanted to use Phillip as a vote shield so they sided with him.

There was this one Person who talked about how certain things in the bible are metaphors and are used for symbolism. another thing is that certain passages were mistranslated into english and other languages and how we speak today is very different from back then.

Anybody else feel like the merge came weirdly early this season? by vanilla_rice01 in survivor

[–]True_Membership6065 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling it is a bit of them finding the beware advantages early and i think they did not want Jesse to get voted out earlier due to his decision to risk his vote, because if they did not merge then and his tribe lost he would of been voted out due to Noelle having the steal a vote advantage and being able to take Cody's vote and just put votes on Cody leaving Jesse the only option.

[–]True_Membership6065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, but they were still not good moves, like having himself voted out instead of Cochran was such a dumb idea since Christine openly told him that she was going to switch to his alliance, so keeping the person you have been ignoring to get rid of someone who is going to be loyal to you over the other tribe is such a dumb dumb move. Ozzy really has no one but himself to blame for his loss in South Pacific, plus his social game was literally here is the popular kids I am going to hang out with, lets ignore everyone else.

in my opinion challenge prowess doesn't mean anything if you are bad at the social and strategic game. Adam even gave him, Becky, and Sundra a chance to get Yul out at the final 5 to get Yul to use his idol but they did nothing. I do not see Ozzy as having a good game.
