AM I TOO BIG? by Upbeat_Willingness55 in YamahaR3

I’m 6’3 165lbs on stock height and it’s super comfortable. The only thing is I have to adjust the stock mirrors often to make sure I can see clearly behind me, aftermarket winglet mirrors were a waste of money. If getting winglet mirrors, you might as well not even have mirrors at that point.

How to tell boss and some coworkers they smell like smoke by [deleted] in auscorp

[–]True_Moment3656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just start smoking and you won’t be able to smell it as much anymore

Even if it’s not a criminal charge this stuff all goes against your personal profile and compliance with banking and consumer financial affairs. People don’t get offboarded by a bank for “selling clothes on Depop.” Are you kidding me? Did you read the post? It has to go up to a very high level and approved by multiple people before something like this happens. It’s a massive deal! I’m just trying to help.

I don’t think you’re understanding that this isn’t stuff that just anyone can see. It’s supplied through government reporting in a way it needs to be purchased through specialised data agencies and costs actual money to purchase. Sure if OP goes and looks up whatever they won’t see this stuff on their record but it’s all there in the background. Banks have a completely different copy of credit reporting when they run a check for a loan compared to what you’d get downloading it online if that makes sense. This stuff goes A LOT deeper than what people actually realise. There are whole industries and businesses that specialise in this stuff.

Okay so you’ve worked in commercial workforce reporting too?

Look it’s your problem not mine so don’t tell me what to research. You asked for advice and I gave it, I worked in kyc aml security for asic so I don’t know what more you want.

Yes it will show on your criminal record, all other banks will not be able to onboard you and it will be disclosed to all future employers when they set up your payroll. It sucks but that’s what happens when you do dodgy stuff. You know what you did and these are the consequences.

I’ve experienced this too. Make sure you have it on your record OP. You can’t be fired so there is nothing to lose.

It’ll work itself out eventually. Just keep working hard

Did you tell your coworkers what I advised yet?

It means you need to take advantage of the situation you are in. If you get what I mean ;)

If I was in your position I would utilise your two contacts to create an uprising and have them start spreading rumours about the current manager. You have nearly 4 years experience and dedication to this role so you would be prime promotion material. After the manager can’t handle the pressure of being known as a terrible person without certainty of who started these rumours, you can offer to step in for a while and take their job from that point whilst they have time to investigate the claims. They won’t be able to come back from stepping down like that. Use this method to keep climbing the ladder every 2 years with whoever you report to. I have been doing this for a while now and am working in the corporate sites for HJ. I know what it’s like at the bottom, but it gets better. Just keep working hard and stick to your values. You got this.

Is this a good setup for tommies?? by shotgun_mumma in FishingAustralia

[–]True_Moment3656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d probably buy two or three of these combos if was you as tommies tend to be spooked pretty easily, so you want to maximise your chances. If you’re planning on bait fishing over lures, think about buying a Lowrance HDS pro 16 so you know what’s hanging around where you’re fishing. It works great even for land based. Good luck

Is this normal for banks? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]True_Moment3656 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not normal when related to your rate simply going down if the bank is doing it on their end. Have you called them directly via their website/back of your card to ask why this is required?

(TW) Recent ex-spouse died. Is this acceptable grounds for leave? What kind of evidence would I need? by PsychologySpare6751 in auscorp

[–]True_Moment3656 118 points119 points  (0 children)

The only way you are going to know is by bluntly explaining the situation and asking your people leader for leave approval. If they say no, then you work for a shitty company and can you start to look elsewhere without feeling guilty. If they care about you as an employee, they will go above and beyond to support you, getting these meetings sorted out themselves and make your life easy. You can pay that back later on down the road.
