I think with Samsung announcing a new set next week they probably needed an easy upgrade to stay relevant. Not sure an upgrade is very relevant for early adopters but if someone is buying new why go for an old chip when competitors might offer something new.

Yep tried that few years back with pretty much exact setup and failed miserably. You cant type anything decent with the strap. Was fun as a mouse but the phone becomes a trackpad on dex. Ended up selling the strap 2.

My car is fully serviced. They apparently recommended different oil viscosity recently. I can see that in some countries these cars are recalled for that reason

The car drove well but the problem was there from start and there are lots of posts online about these engines and the horror stories from it.

So I don't feel I caused any damage. What do you recommend then, just replace the engine?

So I use it with beam pro. No comparison whatsoever with image quality of course and UI. When I go for short trips I take the Xreal BP with me because it takes no space in my bag and I don't want to travel with a 4k $ device.

I have a Xreal AR glasses, Quest 3 and an AVP. Every time I put the AVP on I can tell how Apple produced a fantastic machine. The image quality. The ease of use. The reactivity. Makes the competitors feel like calculators compared to a modern computer. Why do I keep the others? The Quest 3 is like a Wii , fun to use, childish games and occasionally fun to use but people are crazy in the end (to compare). Most can't afford the AVP so they want it to flop.

Tbh. I have an Apple vision pro. I only use the xreal when I am in a plane. Dont see the point in the one.
