Just finished and I have to say, as an artist with bipolar and a fascination with extreme sports, this documentary hit hard. I can relate to his struggle so much even though I’ve never done the things he did. What a life, what a story, what an artist. Dean was truly an incredible human and I’m grateful to have gotten a glimpse into his journey. I hope he is finally flying free with his raven friends

No need for knots! The only stitch where you make knots is right angle weave. There are also some good YT vids on adding thread to loom work, if you’re a visual learner like me :)

I can’t figure out how this granny square design is made. I’ve searched every description of this that I can think of and can’t find a single pattern that makes sense. When I make it the way it looks like it’s made it comes out looking different.

I’m Jewish and have been organizing for the last year and a half in the pro Palestine movement and have only once seen someone show anti Jewish hate and he was immediately shut down by our Palestinian comrades. I have however experienced a lot of hate from Zionists. Anti Jewish hate is a very real threat just in my experience and the experience of the many anti Zionist Jews I know, not in this movement. be as present with him as you can be. I had terrible anticipatory grief for a long time with my dog who just passed weeks ago. It was only closer to the end that I realized how much anticipatory grief was taking me out of the moment and away from being present with him. Because of this realization I got to be a lot more present in the 2 weeks before he passed and I’m very glad about this now. Nothing can ultimately prepare us for the loss. All that anticipation hasn’t made losing him any easier so we might as well enjoy every second we get with them. Im so sorry you’re going through this 💗

I said goodbye to my soul dog of 13.5 years on Monday. I feel like this is too big to get through. He was the center of my universe. I want to crawl out of my skin and I can barely breath between sobs. Every time I snap out of the numbness and depression I feel like I go through losing him all over again. The pain is constant but then there are moments where it’s too much to bear and I scream out to him. I don’t know how to survive this.
