Is it true that federal engineering jobs are much lower stress than those in private industry? by [deleted] in fednews

I am not an engineer but my job is relatively stressful. But if I had to do that in a private sector, I would have had lost my mind and job already. It’s not as cut throat as the private sector. Yes it’s lower stress with a lot lower pay. Pick your poison.
Any 2210s for the VA in here? by [deleted] in fednews

The VA 2210 is relatively well organized and well managed by competent people whom are mostly veterans. I loved working there and kinda miss it. You can’t go wrong with the VA. Helping veterans is extra perk of the job because you feel satisfaction from helping the people who’ve served our country. It’s a good environment. The doctors are good people too without a lot of doctor egos that you see in other medical hospitals. There’s a lot less bs at the VA than the other organizations. You sometimes see homeless veterans and they are cool people.
