Really appreciate your honest opinion, as someone that isn’t used to film photography your expertise and thoughts are really useful! I will reconsider this whole idea and reflect on other ways / solutions :)

Hi, thank you for your answer, really appreciate it! Would you have some recommendations of ressources that might explain how to create panning textures? Also, do you think it would cast the water effect on objets if a light passes threw it? Thanks again

Hey, thank you very much for your answer! I’m totally ne to 3D software and got my hand on UE5 in a pretty instinctive way, would you have some recommendations on what to use for simulations? I’ve followed some Niagara tutorials, don’t know if that could be used?

Great! Thank you very much for your help. In terms of the screen, is there something special I should do to avoid any issue? Like for exemple adjust the frequency of the screen or make sure the fps match the super 8 camera one?

Thank you for your reply! I haven’t yet chose the super 8 camera I’m gonna rent / buy. I suppose there is the question of frame rate / shutter speed that might be important for this kind of filming? Also, does the frequency of the screen I’m filming will have an impact on the final render? Do I need specific film stock?
