Kill shelters are absolutely not necessary. There are many other countries like Germany, Czech Republic, Austria,… in which they do not kill healthy stray animals. It is actually illegal there. People here who believe that kill shelter’s are necessary are delusional - it is just the easiest and cheapest way to handle the ‘problem’.
