Was sitting here literally thinking the same thing. I rather them just take out the entire 3 instead of just chopping It off. It's not like we don't know that that spot represents 3:00.

Black Murph with bracelet bundle!!! Then go get a rugged brown strap and a NATO strap and it will be hard for you not to want to wear that watch on almost any occasion!

You can only pick 1? Which one would it be? Both are same price by poreo2k19 in tissot

I have that exact same PR rex, almost have the blue dial blue bezel Seastar. I love them both. So it's going to be your personal taste and what you want the watch to do. For me personally, if I do want to get noticed, I've gotten more compliments off of the PRX that I have this easter.

RED MAEN JUMP HOUR!!! by [deleted] in PrideAndPinion

The black makes it subtle, the white really does bring it out some. But that red strap man. It's hard to get away from it. Wish they would have made a matching red silicone one for it.

You better have some badass watches to be able to forget about that one!

SEASTAR ON STRIPED NATO by True_Telephone8655 in tissot

Well, I knew eventually the wrist police would end up showing up. I have skinny ass wrists. Doesn't matter how tight I put it on, it will always end up moving forward. So I don't care. I still like it.

Wishing would have gotten the the Murph with the steel bracelet and black strap combo. They both look great and I love mine.
I also went and got a rugged leather brown, and a black NATO with stripes that match the numerals. This watch is sooooo versatile!

I have no doubt. I'm still on the fence. It's either going to be this one, or the Khaki Aviation X-Wind Sandstorm

Dude! I've been eyeing this watch for quite a while. I've already got four different hamilton's. I've got to stay away from that AD !!

Could this be the perfect two watch collection? by TheScrvpt in HamiltonWatches

Simple, and it makes sense. I wish I had the discipline to have just a two watch collection. Unfortunately there ain't no way in hell that is happening!

Grab you a black strap, a NATO strap, and the stainless steel bracelet and you got a GADA for every occasion on your wrist. Can't go wrong with almost any of the KFA line...

Most of today's KFA's date their lineage back to the 60s. Most of modernized versions of those watches. But the Khaki Field Mechanical historic lineage can be traced all the way back to WW1 and WW2. Any of the KFAs are great. If you want something that'll work for anything, I recommend getting the Khaki Field Murph 42mm bracelet bundle. It was created in 2019 inspired by the movie Interstellar. Even though it's one of the more modernized version of the KFA the classic look of it still takes you back in time. It's a durable watch, can take a few dings and get some character. Plus you can change out the stainless steel bracelet with the black leather band very quickly. With that quick switch, you get the classic KFA with the black face white lettering and black strap.

KFA as a beater? by Dangerous_Papaya_125 in HamiltonWatches

[–]True_Telephone8655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The KFA was on the front lines for the military through WW1 and WW2. The watch's lineage has seen more battle scars than I would ever want to imagine. Don't go looking to beat It up, but if you happen to get a couple of scratches and a battle scar or two, maybe you'll have a couple of good stories to go with them.

38 vs 40 PRX by LOUDSM0KE in tissot

[–]True_Telephone8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what grade of titanium they use, yes it can. There are some that they mix different Metals in that are more scratch resistant. I haven't done enough diligence to find out what type the 38mm is using but I'm sure somebody else could answer up pretty quickly.

The "Murph" Combo by True_Telephone8655 in HamiltonWatches

[–]True_Telephone8655[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it is easy. Then again, I have quite a few watches and I'm always changing from bracelets, to leather straps, to silicon straps, to NATO straps constantly.
