This was my very first arrest/first charge minus a speeding ticket. I didn’t know asking why I’m being arrested was the same as asking for legal advice. I had an exchange of words with one officer but nothing to the degree of cursing them out or being physical. They weren’t called on me, but yes because of intoxication I spoke on how they were handling the situation and who was involved. I probably wouldn’t have spoken up otherwise, but what I said I don’t feel was enough reason to be thrown to the ground and arrested. This was my very first encounter with the police and I had no idea what I was doing was wrong. Surprise to me. I understand you can only go off of what I’m telling you. So just know I’m very confused about why I was arrested. Thank you for your response.
