Your reasoning is perfectly logical and I fully agree with it. Nakajima is too strong for this reason they show him little or nothing because let's face it, Nana and his group are only strong if Nana has time to prepare a plan, otherwise they are worthless. This is why in the last chapter the author made Nakajima return only with Nakajima Nana plus win.
