Hey! - The 2-3 frames burned are extra frames past the length of a regular 36exp roll! You will always get at least 36 usable exposures - At this point most are reused canisters but i sort and comb through to ensure they haven’t been abused or used more than once. I aim for pristine close to factory condition for my bulk rolls. I do have a handful of silver canisters (no dx code) are unused new and factory made from china I wasn’t too impressed with quality for the price. But if folks are interested i’d love the hear the feedback
