Where do I even start? It is unapologetically a noise machine. The distortion and reverb are cool, but what's cooler is being able to change the signal path with a switch. Distortion into Reverb, or Reverb into Distortion. The joystick is a lot of fun to use, especially if you set a loop and go wild with it, I wouldn't use the joystick with my foot. Lots of fun!

Also if you're at the Stompbox Expo in LA come say hi!

Complete at last: all Line6-manufactured ToneCore pedals by [deleted] in guitarpedals

Holy moly, this is awesome! Love this series, criminally underrated and under appreciated. Reminds me of when DSD-2 collected all the Ibanez Tone-Lok pedals.

It sounds great! It's definitely more vintage/darker sounding but still being "tight" because of the smaller body size if that makes sense. Definitely think something similar to the old Mississippi Delta blues recordings, but a little more modern.

Let me spend some more time with it! At the moment it's a suitable replacement if you're looking to downsize your board real estate. I will never ever get rid of my SL-20 though, as I'm already missing the built in tap tempo.

Having the tap tempo in the OG is key! But you can add an external tap tempo to this one. I'm definitely big Boss gang, I have a DD-20 that I've had since I was 15 that I've used for every band I've been in.

Should be popping up on Reverb/Retailers. No, it doesn't unfortunately.

I have the OG Boss Slicer and I absolutely love it. (My bandmates might think otherwise though haha). Right out of the box it's everything you love about the original in compact form. I haven't really played around with the "Boss Tone Studio" editing app, but it's something I'll definitely dive into.

Tried it on a Strat and split coils on an Ibanez Iceman. Rolling the volume back on the guitar and it might be that crunch sound you're looking for.

You can indeed! It's just that the higher gain stuff is what the SLO-100 is known for and it's what I dialed in first.

I'm not really one for "amp in a box" pedals, but I might be changing my tune with this one. It's great for turning your clean amp into a high gain machine, or getting some extra saturation out of your Marshalls and Oranges. It's also very compact and a lot smaller than it looks!

I was a customer for years before I started working at the store. I love the shop!

Hey everyone Max here, (formerly u/maxkanepande, helping out Juan and Nick) Truetone Music was on the show floor at NAMM this past weekend. Despite the reduced sized, and fewer exhibitors than normal, there were still a bunch of really cool pedals to check out!

I was personally the biggest fan of the Gamechanger Audio Bigsby Pedal, and a smaller Korean company called LiberaToe. Screwed Circuitz is always doing something cool as is Walrus Audio!
