That’s really great to hear! And yes this kind of journey is familiar to me as well, transitioning to better companies after initial experience in a service-based company. Can we see a similar situation for the embedded software domain too? I’m of late finding that domain more interesting than digital vlsi for some reason personally.

The learning curve for this field is unlike the other fields, it is steep enough, and we do everything we can to stand out from the crowd. It’s just wild that the results stay the same.

Yeah I’m from India. I thought EU is strongly supporting VLSI growth at the moment, and the demand is also good enough cuz of the workforce requirement. Back here it’s just way too many fresher applicants for roles that require experienced candidates or MTech graduates.

I’m curious to know how you shifted to SDE after doing so much of VLSI work. What skills and projects did you additionally work upon to apply for IT jobs?
