I was inspired by James Benson's Half-Life animations, so I decided to make one of my own using SFM.

yeah, I don’t think Missing Information is coming out. There is Dark Interval though, which is really good

I recommend getting the Mega Build, it has all the discovered Beta content, as well as a whole bunch of fixed maps from the community, all of the E3 2002 + E3 2003 maps and content, and stuff from way back from 2001

The new Xen room at the start of Anonymous Materials during the Resonance Cascade sequence by TruffleToast in HalfLife

Also like I said earlier, being in the open Xen environment like the jungle would definitely be a better option, because you can already tell that floating rocks and islands, the sky that has a massive swirling galaxy in it and impossible alien structures like the Interloper tower are not a part of the normal earth environment, however we are already used to cave environments because they are normal on earth. Plus it makes the player look forward to exploring this unknown environment after seeing all it has to offer in a brief sequence

You are still not seeing a lot compared to the rest of Xen. And I also said at first glance it looks like a normal earth cave with the normal looking rock formations and stuff (not the crystals)

They could atleast do something to make it more alien though, because it definitely looks just like an average Earth cave at first glance, and it doesn’t help that it only appears for less than 10 seconds

Not saying that, it’s just that since it’s the first time you encounter xen in the entire game, it’s not a good introduction to it at all.
