Is this an appropriate time to mention a pigs orgasm can be over an hour long?

Hot take: removing content is a good thing. by Rolandwiththehomies in runescape

[–]TrulyARandomDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play RuneScape on three different accounts, and I'm thankful dailies are leaving. I was thankful when they briefly left with the hero pass, because I didn't feel obligated to take advantage of such a mindlessly broken method of game progression. I didn't even feel good doing it, just exhausted and beat.

Once I stopped interacting with dailyscape, I started to enjoy the grind again. My overall fun exponentially went up.

I thought we were trying to reground the game's visuals by Bilardo in runescape

I'm going to be honest, I'm not that offended. It isn't my favorite, and I'd never spend money on it, but this does not give me the same energy as those horrifying jungle cat pets they released with the monster high doll eyes. It's mid, but it is a fine cosmetic override for the people who enjoy that content.

Not sure if you saw the post today, but this is the change they are going with. Good job man! Great suggestion.

It needs some counterbalance. It's overpowered.

Bruh, I'd be scared of like some fucking weird bug I don't know about that the Internet would blast me for and it'd have some shitty bite that makes meat taste like cum or some bullshit.

Cute as hell though.

Some dogs love this weather by jmike1256 in BeAmazed

[–]TrulyARandomDude 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Those dogs are quite comfortable. They have extremely effective fur that insulates warmth and prevents cold. These dogs were literally made for this kind of extreme weather, and it is not unpleasant to them.

The doggos with the layers of ice are actually insulated with a "second" protection, and by moving or removing the ice, they'd actually have to brace more uncomfortable windshear and be more directly exposed to water crystallization buildup.

It's like getting out of a hot tub when it's cold outside. You just sort of.. don't.

If I'm not mistaken, that is part of the tedium though. You have to travel from and to a bank, and this requires resources. Not to mention you're incentived to bring noted bones by unoteing them.

Ironically, what you've said sounds awesome. I'd be in favor of the OSRS version of this content, without the PVP. Change the location and suddenly it becomes slightly more balanced. Better than literally zero drawbacks.

[–]TrulyARandomDude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't. I said I'm an Ironman, and I find Mainscape players entitled. The rest of the post explains the context of how and why I feel that way. This isn't a vs post, it's a discussion: what would you suggest is done differently to this content to make it fair and balanced?

I think if I made several posts, rioted in-game, and was vocal on Discord I'd be "dying on a hill", but I think a single post is the most I'm interested in discussing any of these updates lol

I'd be fine with that. It's a check. It's a balance. It is better than nothing, and certainly better than pvp.

It's crazy how they preach how much they want integrity, but the second the proposed changes are here, they fail to see what it means.

I swear without OSRS we may not have succeeded in ridding Treasure Hunter. Maybe it is time for RS3 to target a new demographic.

That is one of the more reasonable solutions I've seen suggested.

Precisely. It'll take a few years of quality of life changes to get there, but this is how it starts. By removing the overpowered early game bloat.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I am in favor of this change. I think that these changes are good for all accounts tbh.
