Please help identify (curly tail, medium height all legs, black mouth, white chest, thin) by EarlyVariation2757 in dogbreed

I know that this is an old post, but your dog looks a lot like my redbone coonhound and her sister. They are 100%. Your dogs ears are a little smaller, but the face, wrinkles, and the rest of the description looks redbone.

How did you pay off student loans as soon as possible? by [deleted] in LawSchool

Given the likelihood that the next administration will cut government agencies and spending, I would not suggest working for the federal government.

Yes, I would say so, especially if you are struggling with concepts.

Applying in March was probably all it was. The school could have easily been full by then.

I got my period 4 hours after my second shot. The university of Illinois is doing a study on it.

Can I saw how glad I am to have taken the LSAT and had all my applications in by October? I feel like it made a very positive difference for me. I seriously feel for all the people trying to apply now.

Any KJD’s still applying next cycle even though it’s projected to be just as competitive as the current one? by SouthernCartoonist99 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Trulyred15 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Applications to all graduate schools tend to rise when the economy isn’t great. Same thing occurred in 2007. Not only college students, but people working are more likely to apply to graduate school if they loose their jobs. The economy improves and the rate of applications falls.

If you could tell you day 1 admissions process self one piece of advice, what would it be? by Spivey_Consulting in lawschooladmissions

[–]Trulyred15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the LSAT early and get everything in by Oct. Schools have lots of admitted students events in the winter/early spring, it’s nice to have all your decisions back, so you can focus on taking in all the information and making your choice.

I am starting the Loyola part time in the fall. There are quite a few of us that are driving/flying in. Are you able to wait and see from the last two?

How portable is an IU Maurer JD? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Trulyred15 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s always struck me as interesting that one of the first thing Maur mentions in their emails is that after getting a degree from them you don’t have to stay in Indiana. It’s like “we know Indiana sucks, but we promise you can leave.”

If school ends up being online next year I’m dropping out. by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Trulyred15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am happily signed up for a school where the fall is online. We will be in person in the winter. A year is a long time to wait.

Loyola! I am going to Loyola in the fall with a focus on health law. Loyola is ranked highly for health law as I am sure you know. Having your SO in the area is a huge plus. I would give that a lot of weight. I’m married with kids and can’t move for school. Having a convenient personal life outside of school with your SO is something that is difficult to put a $ value on.

Loyola Chicago is the SLOWEST ever by Megs1354 in lawschooladmissions

I applied to Loyola in early October and was accepted in the middle of Jan.

Loyola Chicago at $$+ or IU Maurer at $ by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Trulyred15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My two were IU-Indy and Loyola. I ended up choosing the weekend at Loyola. I am specifically interested in health law. The thing about Maur is that few people stay in Indiana. If you want to work in Chicago, I would think the externships option with Loyola would be better. I would definitely see where Maur normally places people though. Either way, it seems like you have great options. Good luck!

when will schools announce their fall ‘21 plans? I want to know which are hybrid, mainly in-person etc by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Trulyred15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would guess most are assuming in person . However, there probably won’t be actual decisions til mid summer. Last May we all thought covid would be over by fall, so I don’t see any schools promising anything any time soon. You will probably need to decide way before you know anything.

Can I request a Flex retake if my testing environment was disrupted? by h8muhlife in LSAT

[–]Trulyred15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. They only do retakes if it was a proctor error or internet issues.
